A cookie policy explains how a website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and process user data. It describes the types of cookies used, their purposes, and how long they are stored. The policy also informs users how to manage their cookie preferences, which is often required by laws such as the GDPR.

In this article, we will cover how to download the cookie policy generated from a domain's compliance report.

The downloaded cookie policy will be a JSON file that includes all of the trackers found in the latest compliance report for the domain.

Click Compliance Report on the right-hand panel and select the download icon inline with a domain on the subsequent page.

Click Download cookie policy from the drop-down menu.

A JSON file with the trackers found on the domain will be downloaded onto your local machine. Please refer to the table below for more information on the properties included for each tracker dropped by a vendor.

Tracker exemption	String	Indicates if the tracker is configured as consent-exempt in the tracker policy for the domain: Exempted | Not exempted
Tracker exemption title	String	Exemption category configured for a tracker that is consent-exempt
Tracker exemption description	String	Description of the exemption category configured for a tracker that is consent-exempt
Life Time	String	Lifetime of the tracker before it expires # months | session/unknown
1st Party/ 3rd Party	String	Indicates whether the tracker is a 1st-party or 3rd-party tracker
Tracker Type	String	Indicates whether the track is a: cookie | pixel | web_storage | Indexed DB
Tracker Purposes Ids	Array	Purpose IDs for purposes mapped to the tracker in the tracker policy for the domain
Tracker Purposes Names	Array	Purpose names for purposes mapped to the tracker in the tracker policy for the domain
