First-party custom vendor automatically created by Didomi

You will see there is a custom vendor using your organization’s name already created by default in the Data Manager, under the Vendors section. It is a first-party vendor created specifically for your organization.

This vendor is configured based on information entered during your organization’s creation in Didomi's system (done by Didomi's team), such as your organization’s name and website. Note that this information might not be fully accurate *.

The custom vendor includes a set of predefined purposes designed to help you comply with U.S. regulations.These purposes (5 + 15 Sensitive Personal Information) are applicable to specific regulations by default *.

Characteristics of the custom vendor

First-party: The vendor represents your organization as a data processor or controller. It is not displayed in the Partner layer and does not count as a third-party vendor in the first layer of consent notices when using the IAB TCF framework.
Customizable: You can use, edit or delete this vendor. The default configuration is provided to help you begin your consent management journey.

Support for existing clients

A first-party custom vendor has also been added to your organization even if it was created before the launch of this feature (March 2025). This ensures support for declaring your organization’s data processing activities in consent notices.
