Edit purpose in configuration tree

Information related to a purpose within your PMP configuration tree is managed within your organization's data manager (even for purposes directly added from the configuration tree workflow). In this article, we will cover how to edit a purpose that has been added to your PMP configuration tree.

Click Preference Management on the left-hand panel.

Select the Configuration Tree tab on the subsequent page and click Add a purpose.

Navigate to the desired purpose on the list and click Edit/Delete inline with the purpose name.

A modal will confirm that editing a purpose can only be performed via the data manager. Click Go to my Data Manager to continue.

You will be redirected to the data manager section of your Didomi console with a filtered view of your custom purposes. Navigate to the desired purpose and click the Edit icon inline with the purpose name.

Use the subsequent page to edit the following details of the purpose as necessary and click Save to confirm the edits:

• Regulation settings

• Sensitive Personal Information (SPI)

• Advanced settings

• Translations

Edits to the purpose will be available in your PMP configuration tree and preferences widgets.
