# Download notice version

{% hint style="success" %}
**Access Type**: Notice Versions - Viewer
{% endhint %}

A notice version is a unique iteration of your consent notice that was published. Didomi preserves each iteration and assigns them a unique version ID so that your organization can view a change log of updates made to a consent notice each time it was published. If required due to a complaint or audit, your organization can retrieve and share the exact JSON configuration used to create a consent notice version.

{% hint style="info" %}
While Didomi also provides a preview of the consent notice version to view, your organization will want to use the JSON configuration as proof of configuration at the time consent was given by an end-user.
{% endhint %}

Click **Versions & Proofs** on the left-hand panel and ensure the **Notice Versions** tab is selected on the subsequent page.

Navigate to any consent notice version on the list and click the download icon inline with consent notice version name.

A JSON file will be downloaded onto your local machine. [Click here](broken://pages/IhIf1asBNzPuSyGbQkCB) to learn more about the different properties contained in the JSON configuration file for a consent notice version.
