Global Privacy Protocol (GPP)

The Global Privacy Protocol (GPP) is a technical standard developed by IAB Tech Lab and functions as a transport layer that communicates an end-user's consent and preferences throughout the digital advertising supply chain. It supports consent formats like the IAB TCF and U.S. state regulation privacy strings with a single, standardized string format (GPP String) to transmit consent and replaces the need to manage separate, jurisdiction-specific signals.

The Global Privacy Protocol framework is only available for regulations that utilize country/region as its data collection scope.
