# Duplicate preferences widget

Duplicating a preferences widget is an efficient to create a copy of an existing preferences widget and apply any minor edits necessary for a new preferences widget. In this article, we will cover how to duplicate an existing preferences widget.

Click **Preferences** on the left-hand panel and ensure the **Widgets** tab is selected on the subsequent page.&#x20;

Navigate to a preferences widget on the list and click the **ellipsis** inline with the widget name.&#x20;

Click **Duplicate** from the menu.

The preferences widget will be duplicated in your organization's Didomi account. By default, the duplicated preferences widget will be the original widget's name prefixed with **Copy of**.
