In this article, we will cover how to delete a previously configured preference translation for a preference in your preferences library.

{% hint style="info" %}
Any translation edits performed from the PMP widget will not impact the translations stored for the preference in the preference library. [Click here](/preference-management-platform-pmp/preferences-widgets/manage-preferences-widget-translations.md) to learn more about removing translations stored on a per widget basis.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If the preference has been mapped to a purpose in your configuration tree, a warning will remind you that editing the preference can impact widgets that are utilizing that preference.

From the preference content section of the page, navigate to the target translation panel and click the **Delete** icon.
