# Tracker sync

{% hint style="success" %}
**Access Type**: Data Manager - Editor

**Premium Feature**: Advanced Compliance Monitoring
{% endhint %}

Tracker sync is an added benefit for utilizing the Didomi Advanced Compliance Monitoring (ACM) product and enables your organization to easily add trackers to the [tracker table](/data-manager/tracker-policy/configure-tracker-policy.md#tracker-table) of your tracker policy from ACM scans. In this article, we will cover how to utilize tracker sync to add trackers to an existing tracker policy.

Click **Data Manager** on the left-hand panel and select the **Trackers** tab on the subsequent page.

Click **Manage Tracker Policy**.

Navigate to a tracker policy on the subsequent list and click the **Edit** icon inline with the tracker policy name.

Navigate to the tracker table section and click **Tracker Sync**.

From the Domain Selection tab, select the ACM report(s) that should be used to sync the trackers by clicking the checkbox to the left of the ACM report name.

Click **Next Step** when finished.

Your organization has two options when adding trackers to the tracker table of a policy via tracker sync:

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="271"></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Merge Trackers to My Policy</strong></td><td>Selected trackers will be added to the tracker table while preserving any trackers that are currently in the table</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Override Trackers to My Policy</strong></td><td>Selected trackers will be added to the tracker table and replace all trackers currently in the table. The current selection of the table will be removed.</td></tr></tbody></table>

<figure><img src="https://1825037175-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNDxbAdc00ce6bH5u1urh%2Fuploads%2FbP4ftB3Gi1c48DIB8pwy%2FScreenshot_2026-08-04_at_7_07_40%E2%80%AFAM.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=0a796806-1fda-49b7-b3b0-abca6ffc9f92" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The selected trackers will be added in accordance with the option selected.&#x20;

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.didomi.io/data-manager/tracker-policy/tracker-sync.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
