Configure ACM report (Classic scan)

The Didomi Advanced Compliance Monitoring (ACM) report (Classic scan) is a tool that enables your organization to receive a GDPR compliance evaluation for up to 150 pages of a given domain from a Didomi perspective. In this article, we will cover how to configure a tracker and vendor discovery utilizing a classic scan for a domain.

The 150 page limit for ACM report (Classic scan) can be upgraded to 500 pages.

Click Advanced Compliance Monitoring on the left-hand panel and select Add Domain on the subsequent page.

Select Classic Scan in the next modal.

Use the provided fields to input the following information:

Field
Description

Give this domain a recognisable name

Internal name used to identify the domain

Target domain

URL of the domain that will be scrapped by the Didomi bot for the ACM report Example: https://demosite.com

Launched from

Select a country from which the Didomi bot scans.

Since the Didomi bot mimics an end-user's behavior (including the location from which the end-user accesses a domain), this field enables the Didomi bot to experience the CMP behavior targeted at end-users in a specific country.

Regulation

Select a regulation that the ACM report (Classic scan) supports.

The ACM report (Classic scan) can run up to three scenarios in each scan of a domain. By default, the ACM report (Classic scan) will run an Accept all, Refuse all, and a No actions scenario. These default scenarios can be edited or replaced with new custom scenarios.

Please view our dedicated resources on scenarios below:

Once the scenarios have been configured for your ACM report (Classic scan), expand the accordion for Compliance Recommendations. The selected factors in the accordion are used by Didomi to calculate the Didomi rating for the domain

Use the provided toggles inline with each factor to select/deselect the factors that will be used to calculate the Didomi rating for the domain.

All factors are enabled by default and will be used to calculate the Didomi rating for your domain unless otherwise configured.

If required, expand the Advanced accordion to configure the following for the ACM report (Classic scan):

Field
Description

Frequency of the programmed report

Define the frequency for which the ACM report (Classic scan) should run on the domain. The following frequency can be set for the report:

  • Once (limited to once per hour)

  • Every 6 hours (A premium feature in addition to Advanced Compliance Monitoring. Please contact your Didomi account representative for more information)

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

URL filter

Enables your organization to direct the bot to scrape only URLs that contain a specific string. For example, if your organization only wants to evaluate GDPR compliance on its product pages (all of which contain /products/ in the URL, input the string into the field and the Didomi bot will limit its scraping to URLs that contain /products/

N. of pages

Number of pages that the Didomi bot should scan. The maximum number of pages for the ACM report (Classic scan) is 150 pages.

Specify pages to scan

Specific page URLs that your organization wants to scan.

User agent

The ACM report utilizes a bot to scan your configured domains and extract the information relevant to your compliance with GDPR regulations. Defining a custom user agent provides extra security for your domain and eliminates the need to whitelist the default user agent utilized by the Didomi bot.

If required, expand the Scan logged in environment to configure instructions for the Didomi bot to access a domain that requires credentials.

Didomi currently does not support two-factor authentication (2FA) scanning.

Please view our dedicated resource on how to configure your ACM report to scan a domain that requires a login:

Confirm that you own the domain or acting on behalf of the domain owner to run the ACM report (Classic scan) and click Save & Run when finished.

Once successfully created, Didomi will begin generating an ACM report (Classic scan) immediately. All follow-up ACM report (Classic scans) will be generated based on the frequency configured for the report.
